The Roles of Glutathione

Glutathione…

Is Your Body’s Master Antioxidant
It is considered the master antioxidant due to its unique multifunctional characteristics as well as its unprecedented ability to neutralize many types of free radicals that assault the cell. It is the only antioxidant that can recycle itself again and again to continually fight free radicals.

Is The Primary Detoxifier of the Cell
Today we are confronted by over 80,000 chemicals in the air we breathe, the food and water we ingest, and the materials we touch and handle. Many of these toxic chemicals enter our cells and must be eliminated to protect the cell and maintain optimum function. Glutathione is the cell’s fi rst line of defense against chemicals and toxins and the primary detoxi er that can eliminate many of these toxins when it is present in optimal amounts.

Is A Powerful Chelator of Heavy Metals
Heavy metals enter our cells in the same manner as chemical toxins. Fortunately, they can be removed from the cell by a process of chelation, and glutathione is one of the cell’s most powerful chelating agents.

Is The Protector of the Immune Cell
Our immune cells are designed to protect us, but what protects the immune cell? Glutathione is the protector of the immune cell and allows newly formed immune cells to proliferate to attack germs and viruses.

Is The Protector of Mitochondrial DNA
The breakdown of the mitochondrial DNA accelerates aging and increases cell death. Glutathione is the protector of the Mitochondrial DNA, and the lower the glutathione level, the more vulnerable this DNA becomes to breakage.

Is The Protector of the Nucleus of the Cell
The nucleus of the cell regulates all cell activity and protecting it is critical to the health of the cell and its optimal function. When present in suf ficient amounts, glutathione gives the nucleus the protection it needs.

Reduces Oxidative Stress
Oxidative Stress is the most aggressive destructive force that assaults the cell. Cells manufacture a number of antioxidants to counter oxidative stress. Glutathione plays a primary role in neutralizing many different types of free radicals and supporting our antioxidant defense system.

Reduces Intracellular Inflammation
Infl ammation is the mortal enemy to the tissues, organs and various systems of the body. All in flammation begins at the cellular level, and low glutathione levels are associated with infl ammation.

Is The Re-Utilizing Agent of Ingested Antioxidants
Antioxidants that are ingested that are (not manufactured by the body such as vitamin C and E), once spent, cannot be re-utilized by the cell unless they are first converted into a usable state. Glutathione is the agent that converts those antioxidants into a state that can be utilized by the cell.

Is The Reducing Agent for Hemoglobin, Allowing it to Transport Oxygen to Every Cell
The purpose of hemoglobin is to carry oxygen to all living cells. However, when it is oxidized it can not carry an oxygen molecule and must first be reduced to an acceptable state. Glutathione protects hemoglobin from oxidizing agents and can also reduce the oxidized form to make this possible.

Healthy DNA and Genes = Healthy Cells, Healthy Offspring

DNA and Genes contains genetic information

All living things are made of tiny ‘building blocks’ called CELLS. Each CELL contains inherited genetic information, packaged in the form of GENES.

What is a GENE?

A GENE is made of a length of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) that has a message encoded in its chemical structure. GENES are the instructions that give organisms their particular characteristics.

GENES are the “words” along the DNA “sentences”.

Genes are messages that provide the information for all cellular functions. They carry information that is “passed on to future generations.”

An organism's genes determine:
  • The characteristics that are used to classify it into the plant or animal kingdom and into a specific family and species.
  • How it uses food
  • How well it fights infection
  • At times, how it behaves.
What if DNA gets altered or damaged? The simple answer is we start to get diseases if our immune system won’t be able to repair damaged DNA’s.

The BAD NEWS is, since DNA is the BLUEPRINT of an organism. The information that DNA contains is PASSED FROM ONE GENERATION TO THE NEXT! Your offspring may inherit your damaged DNA PACKAGED WITH THE DISORDER OR DISEASE!

INHERITED DISORDER or INHERITED DISEASE = a disease or disorder that is inherited genetically.

HOW CAN WE PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING?

The fastest and cost effective solution for this is by using Glutathione Accelerator to enhance production of ENDOGENOUS ANTIOXIDANT GLUTATHIONE GSH inside our Cells. This endogenous antioxidant is capable of correcting damaged DNA’s as well as protecting it from being damaged by free radicals. There is a Glutathione Accelerator Supplement that is clinically tested to increase glutathione gsh levels by up to 292%.

It is AMAZING to know that these health problems may be prevented by enhancing glutathione gsh production within our cells. Start taking Glutathione Accelerator, you will benefit, your future children will be healthy too!

Heart Disease and Glutathione

WHAT IS HEART DISEASE?
Heart disease is one of the leading cause of death in the world. There are several forms of heart disease, but heart disease primarily comes from the buildup of fatty deposits on the inner surface of arteries. Eventually these deposits block blood flow, leading to a heart attack or stroke. Heart disease is also associated with arteriosclerosis which refers to the loss of elasticity or hardening of the arteries.

The Root Cause of Heart Disease
FREE RADICALS CAUSES HEART DISEASE
We can say that Free Radicals is a big risk factor of Heart Disease. Arteriosclerosis, has been linked to lipid peroxidation - the oxidation of lipids or fats by free radicals. Scientists now believe that it’s not just the eating of fat that causes the buildup on the inner surface of the arteries, but those fats that have been damaged by free radicals. This is called oxidized fat, which causes the fat to be more sticky therefore adhering to the inner artery walls more easily. This explains why smoking and stress (source of free radical) are risk factors to heart disease.

HOW ENDOGENOUS ANTIOXIDANT GLUTATHIONE REDUCES THE RISK OF HEART DISEASE.
The enzyme glutathione peroxidase, which requires glutathione, detoxifies the lipid peroxides produced during the oxidation of lipids. With the help of glutathione, lipid peroxidation which may result to arteriosclerosis, can be avoided. Endogenous antioxidant glutathione therefore reduces the risk of heart disease.

GLUTATHIONE AND THE HEART
The heart is at the core of good health. Experiencing optimal health requires a heart functioning at its peak. There are many factors that contribute to a healthy heart and glutathione plays a pivotal role. Antioxidants, and especially the most powerful endogenous antioxidant, glutathione, neutralize free radicals. It means that the cells in your heart are protected, allowing it to pump hard when you need it. With its big role in controlling free radicals, glutathione is essential in supporting optimal heart function.

To prevent Free Radical damage that may lead to heart disease, try to increase your body's endogenous antioxidant production by taking glutathione accelerator.

Psoriasis and Glutathione

What is Psoriasis?
Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that appears on the skin. It occurs when the immune system mistakes the skin cells as a pathogen, and sends out faulty signals that speed up the growth cycle of skin cells. The most common form, plaque psoriasis, is commonly seen as red and white hues of scaly patches appearing on the top first layer of the epidermis.

Individuals with psoriasis are at an elevated risk to develop other chronic and serious health conditions also known as "comorbid diseases" or "comorbidities." These include heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease and diabetes. People with more severe cases of psoriasis have an increased incidence of psoriatic arthritis, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, cancer, depression, obesity, and other immune-related conditions such as Crohn's disease.

While others are struggling to treat and cure Psoriasis, we found out that with increasing Endogenous Antioxidant Glutathione at the cellular level, Psoriasis will be controlled and symptoms will be greatly reduced.

Visit Glutathione GSH Benefits facebook page to see the photo testimony of Mr. Flores. His psoriasis is greatly improved after taking Natural Glutathione Accelerator.

Below are the Symptoms and some facts about Psoriasis:
  • It is not a contagious disorder.
  • Psoriasis is manifested by silvery, scaly patches that commonly appear on the scalp, ears, arms, legs, knees, elbows and back.
  • Skin cells are produced quickly, skin cells were replaced for only 2 to 6 days instead of the normal 21 to 28 days period.
  • Psoriasis affects around 3% of people globally.
  • Usually affects patients between age 11 to 45.
  • Constant shedding of dead skin cells.
  • Both dead and live cells accumulate on the skin surface.
  • There is a genetic link and it tends to run in families. About 30% of people with one first degree relative with psoriasis develop the condition.
  • There is no way of predicting who will develop psoriasis.
  • 50-60% of people who first experience it do not know of anyone else in their family who has had it.
  • Patients with Psoriasis have low levels of Glutathione or suffering from Glutathione Deficiency.
The exact cause of psoriasis is still not known, but certain things act as triggers, and set the stage for a flare-up. Among them are food allergies, nutritional deficiencies, climate changes, damage to the skin from dryness, local injury or sunburn, reaction to certain drugs, infections, build up of toxins in an unhealthy colon and emotional stress.

Aside from increasing Glutathione at the cellular level, taking exogenous antioxidant and Vitamin B complex that makes skin healthy might help. Natural Glutathione inhibit the growth of psoriatic cells, it may also bring the cells back to its normal condition by making the DNA healthy. Detoxification programs are also helpful for patients with psoriasis to get rid of potential triggering toxins.

Maintenance Drugs Side Effect

You should be aware that if you are taking maintenance medicine, you must take into account how it will affect your health after long term of use. There are maintenance medicine that can make your body suffer by depleting essential vitamins and minerals inside your body that can cause serious side effect like having a heart problem, osteoporosis and many more that we will discuss in a separate article. If you are taking any of the maintenance medicine stated below, consider taking additional exogenous antioxidant supplement so your body won't suffer. Please read the article below - Source: St. John Center for Wellness and Family Medicine, 18303 Ten Mile Road Suite 500, Roseville, MI 48066 586-498-5160. Maintenance Drugs that can DEPLETE Essential Vitamins and Minerals

Despite the focus on eating a healthier diet as a tool for staying healthy, prescription or nonprescription drugs maybe necessary from time to time. Unfortunately, many of these drugs can cause the body to lose nutrients. The medical name for this is 'drug-induced nutrient depletion'.

This topic is of vital significance to both health professionals and the general public.

For decades, studies have documented that many commonly prescribed drugs can cause the depletion of one or more nutrients. Unfortunately, this information does not receive the publicity and attention it deserves. Researchers believe that many of the side effects from drugs may actually be due to the nutrient depletion that are caused by the drugs, when taken over time. In 1998, 11 of the top 20 drugs prescribed were drugs for which studies showed potential nutrient depletion.

Below is a list of the nutrients that may be depleted by long term use of some commonly prescribed medications. Both over-the-counter and prescription medications have the potential to deplete nutrients from the body. Because so many people depend on medications to maintain their health, simply removing medications or stopping the use of medications is not necessarily the answer. Changing the use of medications must be done only under the supervision of a physician. However, you can make changes in your lifestyle, particularly through proper diet and supplements, to help replace the nutrients that may be depleted during the use of medications. If you take any of the below medications regularly, you should discuss possible diet changes or supplementation with your health care provider in order to prevent deficiencies from developing.
